Aunt Geneva... Aunt Jamima...
I have such great memories of childhood from your "old" house... Racing around the pool in the backyard in Granny Goose's wheelchair, going down the pool slide, learning to play pool in the garage, playing card games at the kitchen table...
So many memories that will be in my heart for always! Thank you!!
You will me missed but never forgotten!
I love you!

I had the pleasure of meeting Genny when she, Barbara, and Ken hired me to work at Rialto Escrow in 1998. I immediately took to Genny, she was so very likeable, and made me feel extremely comfortable during our interview...guess I'll never forget that. Genny was such a wonderfully good-natured, good-hearted person, and everyone was happier just being around her! She was optimistic, kind, helpful, and more energetic than most people I know, including myself who is nearly 20 years her junior! She was truly a very special lady, and my heart goes out to all of Genny's loved ones..I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Nana, I miss you more than my heart can handle! I miss your voice, your perfume, your hugs, your laugh, the twinkle in your eye when you would look at me...mostly hearing you tell me that you loved me. We will never let Riley forget the memory of Nana, we will talk about you often, and tell her of the love you gave to your family and friends. We will miss you always and forever.

Oh, Aunt Geneva, how fortunate and blessed I am to have had you in my life.
I have so many memories of you from as far back as I can remember and up till the eve of your passing.
You will always be remembered for your loving and kind ways; for your thoughtfulness and caring.
Your passing has left a void in my life and in my heart. I know that in time we will be together again.
Miss and love you; you will always be in my heart.

From the first time we met several years ago, we recogonized Gennie as a keeper (special person &friend). We will remember always the good times we had with Gennie and Howard in CA. It was really nice that they could visit us in TX summer before last. She had the ability to converse on any topic and to leave you smiling with her wit. She leaves us with a gap that will never be filled by another. The word stranger was not in her vocabulary; once you met her, you would understand why! We send our love and condolences to her family and to Howard.

Although seeing Gennie only once a year, she provided a big smile for each
time. She was a pleasure to talk to. I know she will be missed dearly by her
family and friends. Hope everyone finds peace in their hearts, and are thankful for the most wonderful memories possible. She was a jewel.
