08/03/1928 - 10/24/2018Mrs. Phyllis Palkovic, born on August 3, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Fredrick and Eleanor Kozelka, passed away peacefully at age 90 on October 24, 2018 in Woodland Hills, California. She was a resident of the San Fernando Valley for 57 years and an employee at the Los Angeles Community College District until retiring in 1992. Phyllis was the loving wife of the late Edward Palkovic. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janine Baril. Phyllis is survived by her sons, Paul, Rick, Keith, Brent, daughter Lisa, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Phyllis had a passion for prayer, family and gardening. She was an active member at Saint Bernardine of Sienna Catholic Church. Donations in Phyllis' name to Saint Bernardine of Sienna.
