Jimmy Lynn Arnold, age 80, of LaFollette, passed away Saturday, March 3. He was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church. Founder and operator of Dixie Turf and Tree, Greenway Farm and Home Center and J.L. Arnold Trucking Company. He was president of Dixie Pine Coal Company. He was an avid fan of U.T. sports, especially the Lady Vols. Preceded in death by son, Jimmy B. Arnold; father, Uless R. Arnold; mother, Edith Davis Arnold; brother, Bill G. Arnold, and brother, Jack Arnold.
He is survived by wife, Rosalind Bower Arnold of LaFollette; sons, Benjamin Chris Arnold and wife, Mary Wynn of LaFollette, Uless Joseph Arnold of LaFollette and John Tracy Arnold and wife, Meredith of LaFollette; daughter, Hanna L. Winchester and husband, David of LaFollette; grandchildren, Brittany Arnold Bean, Lillian Hope Rader, Benjamin (Ben) Arnold, Bower Abraham Arnold, Blake Arnold, Skyler Winchester, Sam Arnold, Andy Arnold, John Allen Arnold, and Rose Winchester; sister, Judy Rice and husband, Paul of LaFollette; sister-in-law, Frances Arnold of Middlesboro, Ky. and life long special friends, Bobby Leach, Bob Swisher, Eddie Coker and Carlile McCall.
Services were held Monday, March 5 at LaFollette United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chris Stanfield officiating. Interment was in Powell Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to LaFollette United Methodist Church, 808 East Central Ave., LaFollette, Tenn., 37766.
