Margaret Mande Obituary
She spent her early life and was educated in Waukegan. On April 22, 1994, she married Bill Mande in Waukegan. She has been a resident of Union Grove for the past ten years. Margaret was employed at Southern Wisconsin Center. She was a member of 1st Assembly of God in Union Grove.
Survivors include her parents, Fred and Mary Wheeler of Waukegan, IL; husband, Bill Mande of Union Grove; children, Shannon Lee (Brandon) Malkasian of Union Grove, son, Bryce Mande of Union Grove (currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan); grandchildren, Ellanor and Lincoln Malkasian; siblings, Julie (Bob) Dreyer, Sharon (Dennis) Dowell, Jeff (Margaret) Wheeler, Beth (Jeff) Tuthill, Kathy (Jack) Miller, Tom (Vanessa) Wheeler; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Peggy was always the one who kept everyones spirits up. Whenever anyone needed anything she was there. She had a heart big enough to love everyone of all walks of life. I am gratefull that she has touched my life. I will miss her dearly. The love and strength of the Wheeler family is what the definition of family is all about. My heart goes out to all of you who have lost such a fine mother, sister, wife and grandmother. Peggy will be around for a long time. Miss you all, Love Beany

Life is so fleeting and
there is never enough time to be together but there always was enough love, laughter and truly wonderful times shared with Peggy and her family when we were growing up. Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler always put up with so many kids hanging out at their house, so many sleepovers, so many boxes of macaroni and cheese, but they always welcomed all of us and always let us just be kids. Seeing Peggy again at my sister Beany's house will now become my final time to have been with her and I am so grateful to have had that time to reconnect. Please find comfort in knowing how many people loved Peggy and will never ever forget her.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Peggy. I can not even begin to tell you what a joy it was to have her for a friend. Out of the blue on my birthday last year she called to wish me a happy birthday. We talked for about two hours reminiscing about old times while filling me in about her children and grandchildren. Even though we had not talked for years it was like we had not skipped a beat. True friends are hard to find and even harder to lose. My thoughts and prayers are with you all on this very sad occasion. I will miss you Peggy

The Wheelers,
Thank you for allowing me to spend some time with the family. I feel truly blessed to have shared some treasured memories, laughter, and even some tears. All very healthy and good for the soul. If there is anything I can do please let me know.
Your family was very instrumental in who I am today and you were all there to comfort me in my times of loss as well. My only regret is that I did not keep in better contact and make more of an effort over the years. That will be changing, I promise.
With that I would like to close with a prayer to help you through this difficult time of grieving.
Dear Lord, May your arms be wrapped around Peg's family. May they feel your never ending love and be reassured that you have each and everyone of them tucked tightly under your wing. May they seek your face for you are faithful and do not allow satan to touch anyone of your children without your approval for your plan is always perfect.

While we only knew Margaret this year through our relation her brother Tom, it was evident from the start that she was a warm and creative person who showed her love for her family and zest for life. Peggy was always funny, a great friend and a person who enjoyed life. She never sat around feeling sorry for herself, she was a go getter that always made the world a sunny place because she was in it.
