Dionne "D3" was born December 17, 2003, in Lake City, Florida to Heather Washington (Curtis) and Martell Jones (Shatia) and Dionne Alonzo Leslie, Sr. He passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2021. Dionne was a part of Columbia High School's class of 2023 and was an active member of the Young Marines of Fort White, FL. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where he served on the Usher Board and also participated in mission work with his mother. Dionne was a respectable, God-fearing young man with a kind heart. He never met a stranger and carried joy with him to every room he entered. He enjoyed music and loved the company of his family and friends especially his best friend/cousin, Tyrese Bradley.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Ben and Rosa Lee Johnson Adams and Debra Morrison; aunt, Felicia Leslie; uncles, Enoch Jonas, Thomas Cason. He will be greatly missed and we will forever cherish his favorite words; "It'll Get Greater Later".
Precious and loving memories are left with parents, Heather Washington (Curtis), Martell Jones (Shatia), and Dionne Alonzo Leslie, Sr.; grandmother, Betty Goodbread; grandfathers, Nelo Williamson and Kerry Jones; several younger siblings that adored him greatly; aunts, Lisa Bradley (Winston), Mary Warning (Barry), Cortez Johnson, Antonette Leslie, Barbara Goodbread; uncles, Ben Adams, Albert Adams, Norman Adams, Joe Lee Adams, Cleveland Collins (Dorothy), Calvin Jonas, James Johnson, Derick Leslie, Sr., Tyrell Watson; hosts of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Dionne "D3" will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 13, 2021, at the Garden of Rest Cemetery, Lake Jeffery Road.
A walk through-viewing will be from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. Friday, February 12, 2021, at the funeral home.
