William Lane Obituary

William E (Billy) Lane
Born May 23, 1960 in Jacksonville Florida to M. Melvin Lane Sr. and Sandra Giles.
Billy went home to be with his Lord in late 1979-early 1980 when he was murdered along with the young woman, Diane. He was hitchhiking around the United States with Diane. Thanks to DNA technology, his remains were positively identified the first week of April, 2021.
Billy leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Sandra Blair, Lake City, Florida and his brothers and sisters, Eddie, Mel Jr., David, Joyce, Art, Sandra and half-sister Leigh. His father Melvin Sr.. Half brother Walter, brother Jimmy and maternal and paternal grandparents all went home to be with the Lord before Billy's earthly remains were found and he welcomed them all with open arms. Billy's burial will be a private family affair.
