Died: October 8, 2016; in Libertyville, IL

Lillian Mary Frost (nee Raupp), 82, of Round Lake, passed away on October 8, 2016, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

She was born to Jacob and Olga (Wiedner) Raupp on February 4, 1934 in Long Grove, where she was raised on the family farm. Lillian met Edward James Frost, Sr. and the two were united in marriage on May 18, 1957 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Buffalo Grove. Then, the couple moved to Round Lake, where they lived for the duration of their marriage.

Lillian, a homemaker, took great pride in raising her family and watching them thrive. Once her children were older, she worked at Baxter for fifteen years. She was then selected by Mayor James Lumber to be the Round Lake City Clerk for ten years, retiring in her third term. A wonderful person to be around, Lillian was known for her liveliness. She made friends easily and was always ready to sit down and play a game of cards. In addition, Lillian was a devout Catholic and dedicated member of St. Joseph Church in Round Lake.

Lillian leaves behind her children, Edward (Susan) Frost, Jr., of Bloomingdale, Timothy Frost of Round Lake, and Terese "Terry" Frost of Round Lake Beach; her grandchildren, Jim and Gabriella; and her brother, James (Marie) Raupp of Lake Zurich.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband on June 6, 2007; and her parents.
