Michael Allen Peter #64, age 47, of Pell Lake, WI, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at NorthShore Skokie Hospital.

He was born March 27, 1970 in Racine, WI to Allen and Kristine (Nelson) Peter. On September 13, 1992 he married Carol A. Fuller in Elkhorn, WI.

Michael was a laborer at Scot Forge in Spring Grove, and at Spancrete Industries in Crystal Lake. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and collected different sports memorabilia. Among other things, he had a passion for weightlifting.

Michael was a loving and dedicated father, and a man of God. He was the founding member of Team Peter. Michael often supported his children by attending their extracurricular activities, wrestling, soccer, football, and Devin's dance recitals.

Michael leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Carol; four children, Dylan, Devin, Michael, Austin; his parents, Allen (Kristine) Peter; a brother, Nick (Kim) Peter; a sister, Kelly (Dave) Ezelle; his in-laws, Ron (Marie) Fernstrom; two sisters-in-law, Kim, Sara; and many beloved friends, especially Lenny Norys and Troy Shulka.

Michael was preceded in death by his son, Caleb.

Friends and neighbors may gather on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, W775 Geranium Rd, Genoa City, WI 53128. The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorials to the family for the Peter children's future education.
