Neal M. Strouf, 81, of Medina, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013. He was born June 10, 1931, in Two Rivers, Wis., to the late May and Leon Strouf. Neal graduated from Two Rivers High School and Marquette University. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Neal worked for Formrite Tube Company in Wisconsin and transferred to Medina in 1960, to open a Formrite plant in Medina. He retired from Formrite in 1994.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family. Neal helped establish Pee Wee Football in Medina, was involved in Rotary Club and served as director of the Chamber of Conimerce. He has been a member of St. Francis Xavier Church since 1960.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Fran; daughters, Faye (Lee) Yates and Joelle (Clinton) Cridick; son, Gregg Strouf; grandchildren, Katey, Kyle, Britney, Kendra, Logann, Tabri and Bristol; sister Mary Jane, (Marvin) Rozmarynoski; brother, Marlin (Sharon) Strouf; and nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, June 8, 11 a.m., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina. Private burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Family received friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Waite & Son Funeral Nome, 765 N. Court St., Medina.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Francis Xavier Church or Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, OH 44256.
