There she met and married Earl Rutledge in April of 1952. Earl preceded her in death in 1997. Earl and Beverly both worked at, and retired from, the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory. She is survived by her three daughters: Cynthia Rutledge (Greg), Theresa Chacon (Albert), and Deborah Smith (Gary). Bev's sweet little hand wave and greeting of "Hi Friend" will be greatly miss by all who were lucky enough to spend time with her these last years of her life.
Beverly's remains will be placed with her mother, Mayme Wilkins, in Los Alamos in a family ceremony later this spring. Should you wish to make any contributions in her name, please make them to the Ambercare Foundation, 550 D St. Michaels Drive, Santa Fe, NM 87505
