I have know Charles for a little over a year and I become fond of his Intellect and his sense of humor. Few people have achieved the position of respect and high esteem which he enjoyed for so many years in this community. His absence will be felt by many for many years to come. With deepest sympathy , James Klesr

We were so sorry to hear this news. Charles attended UCSD with my husband and I; we also went to the college church group together. Charles was a great student- such a gifted guy. I loved to tease him about not ever seeing a number in his math homework- only variables. We also introduced him to innertube water polo. It was so fun to see Charles play such a silly game, and laugh his head off the whole time. I believe we also corrupted him by teaching him how to climb fences with the team to "borrow" neighboring condo jacuzzis after games. We knew these things were out of his comfort zone, but he trusted us enough to tag along and have fun. Miss that kid!

We were so sorry to hear of Charles death. He was in a college group we sponsored when he attended La Jolla United Methodist Church. We admired his abilities and his enthusiasm. He was a brilliant student and will be missed by all who knew him.
