Ralph Francis Crist
LANCASTER: Ralph Francis Crist, 86, of Lancaster, passed away on January 28, 2013 in Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on July 31, 1926 in Bloom Township a son of the late, Kirby L. and Anna E. (Hommel) Crist. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII; retired from Rockwell International in 1986; was a lifetime member of the F.O.E. #2120 and the American Legion Post 11; he also enjoyed being a Stock Car driver in the 1950's.
He is survived by his sons, R. Kirby and Teddy Crist; step son, Terry (Lois) Pierson; a sister, Betty Glaze; grandsons, K.C., Nathen and Shane Crist; step grandsons, Damian and Judy Lynn, Trevor and Janie Pierson; granddaughters, Keshia and Jeremy Hintz, Lindsay and Chelsey Crist; step granddaughters, Tisha and Rick Bate; great grandson, Kaleb Hintz; step great grandsons, Brody Gerrell, Hunter and Chase Pierson; great granddaughters, Lillian and Violet Crist, Kamryn Hintz; step great granddaughters, Emily and Katie Bate, Kimber, Kristin and Kori Pierson.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Frances (BoBo) Crist in 2006; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Frances, Linnie and Clara, Carl and Virginia, Glen and Betty, Jim and Nida, Paul and John and a brother-in-law, Clyde Glaze.
Friends may call Friday from 4-8 pm in the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Saturday in the Funeral Home with Reverend Rita Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the Lancaster Burial Detail.
The family would like to thank the people on the 3rd floor, PCU, ICU and the Palliative Care Unit at Fairfield Medical Center and Lanfair Nursing Care for the care that they gave Ralph.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family in his memory.

Shane, Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
