Rebecca Lemaster Obituary
LANCASTER: Rebecca J. Lemaster, 78 of Lancaster, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center.
She was born June 6, 1932 in Shawnee Ohio, daughter of the late Charley D. and Annie (Steen) King.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Lemaster; parents; sisters, Beulah, Rachel, Mary, Ruth and Deborah; brother, Sam.
She is survived by daughters, Linda (Bill Smith) King of Glenford, Debbie (Ernest) Thompson of Newark, Yvonne Lemaster of Lancaster, Anita Miller of Lancaster, and Sherry (Henry) Mowery of Lancaster; sons, David (Julie) Lemaster, Steven Lemaster, and Danny Lemaster all of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph King; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of the Fairfield Medical Center ICU for their special care.

Mama as you are eagerly and excitedly exploring your new home (Over The Rainbow) I know that you will notice a few empty guest rooms ,but just know that your loved ones will be preparing for the best and most amazing of journeys to be reunited and make sure that all those empty rooms are full with new permanent residents . Sorry about your mom's passing. I konw it is something we all have to go through but it doesn't make it any easier. Several of the basketball players and coaches (present and passed) also expressed their sorrow. Hang in there and we'll talk later.
