Bill Curry Jr.
LANCASTER: Bill Curry Jr., 80 of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 at the Ohio State University Medical Center. Bill was born on August, 31, 1936 to the late Bill & Cindy Curry Sr. in Delbarton, West Virginia. He was a skilled tradesman for Western Electric/ AT & T/ Lucent for 40 years. Bill loved to build and had built every home he had ever lived in. He reconstructed old log cabins all over the United States. He had six log cabins on his property that he utilized for his antique business. He loved flowers, especially day lilies and has thousands as he professed to make life prettier with his green thumb and perseverance. He and his wife, Ginny were married for 33 years and enjoyed their antique business, their home and children, but much more, each other. Bill was also an avid little league baseball coach for 20 years in Pataskala, OH, which brought him much joy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ginny; daughter, Roxanne (Charlton) Amidon of Delaware, OH; son, Randy (Molly) McBrayer of South Carolina; grandchildren: Lauren Coventry of South Carolina, Matthew Rentenberg of Ohio, and Kevin (Izzy) McBrayer of New Zealand; siblings: Johnny (Eleanor) Curry and Amos (Maxine) Curry; 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that were truly loved.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Ivory (Lou) Farmer, Viccie (John) Hunt, Isalea (Jr.) Dillon, Effie (Doy) Elder, Shando (Jackie) Curry, Ethel Mae Curry, and Ruth (Lewis) Hess.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016, at 10:30AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Bill Hagerman officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4PM-6PM at the funeral home. Burial to follow the services at Wesley Chapel Cemetery on Rockmill Road in Lancaster.

Ginny, George & I were so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was such a great person, and we got to know him well when he worked on our house. We will miss seeing him sitting in the driveway at your shows; you could always count on him being there. Know that you are in our prayers.
