Helen I. Deeds
LANCASTER: Helen I. Deeds 90 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Stimmel Elderly Care Boarding Home, Lancaster, Ohio.
She was born on March 29, 1926 to the late George E. and Pauline Ream Ruff in Fairfield County. She was a retired bookkeeper for Deeds Brothers Dairy and Garvin Dairy with 25 years of service.
Helen was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, an avid lover of antiques and enjoyed auctions and loved dogs.
She is survived by her close friends and preceded in death by her husband, Philip Deeds, parents, sister and brother-in-law, Mary Kathryn and Kenneth C. Muck.
Per her request no calling hours will be observed. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Rose Cemetery with Rev. Melodie Weaver Rezac officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBU ST. LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Fairfield County Humane Society, 1721 Granville Pike, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
