Albert Roy Antle Sr.


Albert Roy Antle Sr., 93, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, June 19, 2014.
He was the son of the late Rue and Maud Walls Antle.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of East Campbellsville Church of God.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country honorably in World War II.
He was married to Vivian Webb Antle for 55 years. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Roy Antle Jr. and his wife, Gayle, of Greensburg, Ky.; three daughters, Bonnie Antle, Connie Crowe and her husband, Larry, and Frances Martin, all of Campbellsville; a sister, Inez Caven of Hodgenville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great grandchildren; and his caregiver, Bea Brown and her husband, Archie, of Campbellsville.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Antle Sr.; two brothers, Coy Antle and a brother in infancy; and two granddaughters, Rhonda Gayle Arnett and Stephanie Renea Arnett.
Funeral was Saturday, June 21, at L.R. Petty Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Campbellsville. Bros. Robbie Spencer, Daniel Perkins and George Blevins officiated. Interment was in Brookside Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Honor Guard.
