Mary Frances Hudgins Blanton Rama, 93, of Hodgenville, passed away, Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Masonic Home of Louisville.
She was a member of the Hodgenville Christian Church, charter member of the Tonieville Homemakers, Sportsman Lake, member of the Golden Age Club, LaRue County Pork Producers, LaRue County High School Band Boosters, two-time Kentucky Colonel and an avid fisherman.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank S. Blanton, Jr. after 31 years and William McKinley "Mack" Rama after 26 years, and her parents, William Shelton and Thelma Cook Hudgins.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra J. (Robert) Cole of Louisville; her son, Frank (Jean) Blanton III of Sebring, Florida; three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ray Pruden) Cripe, Michelle (Joel) Kartholl and Jeffrey (Tami) Blanton; two step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Ron) Putman and Julie (Danny Dowell) Ward, a nephew, W.C. Blanton; twelve great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 9 at the Hodgenville Christian Church with the Reverend Gordon McDowell officiating.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 9 at the church until time for services.
