Lynn Maxine Bernstein

1942 - 2016

January 5, 1942 - April 19, 2016 Beloved Mother to Lori and David (Jennifer), Grandmother to Max, Sister to Joe, Aunt and Friend. After a long and hard-fought struggle with Pancreatic Cancer she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Throughout Lynn's life she was very active in the community, volunteering in numerous organizations. Among her charitable activities she served on boards for The Maple Center of Beverly Hills, the Beverly Hills Education Foundation and the Beverly Hills PTA. For the last 5 years, prior to her illness, she volunteered at the Desert Regional Medical Center, in Palm Springs. Professionally, Lynn was an award-winning Real Estate agent in both Los Angeles and Palm Springs for over 25 years. Services are scheduled for Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Hillside Memorial Park, 6001 W. Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90045. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Desert Region Medical Center Auxiliary, 1150 N. Indian Canyon, Palm Springs, CA 92262 or your charity of choice. She was loved by so many, which was a reflection of how she lived. She will certainly be missed, but will live on in our hearts.
