April 25, 1920 - April 8, 2014 At 93 years young, after a valiant battle, Margie "flew away" on April 8, 2014. Loving wife of Leonard (of blessed memory), beloved mother of Marlen (Scott) Hill, Debra Sokolow, and Loren (Rhonda) Sokolow and adoring grandmother of Anton, Tyler, Zach and Lexie. An amazing role model for her family with her dedication and outstanding work at City of Hope, Screen Smart Set and as a Negative Cutter for 36 years at Desilu and Spelling Productions. So admired for her zest for life enjoying her many varied interests - golf, cooking, travel, playing games and the #1 fan of the Wise Guys softball team! She will be forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The City of Hope, Medical Center Aides, Attn: Suzanne Lazarus, 1055 Wilshire Blvd. 12th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90017. Services will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:30 am at Mount Sinai, Los Angeles.

Marlen and Loren,
May your mother's memory be only for a blessing. Remembered from grade school, more than 50 years ago.

Everyone should have had an Aunt Marge. I was truly blessed to know this remarkable woman my whole life. She will be missed by all, especially me.
