Dear McGinnis Family,
I am sure that you know how special John was to everyone who knew him and I cannot even imagine the pain and loss that you are feeling right now. John was so special, it is hard to find the words to describe him or the way that he made my day better every time that I went to or came home from work. I feel grateful to have known him. May John's memory live on through the people who love him, by continuing his kindness, sense of humor and genuine love for life and others.
My sincerest condolences,
Sandra Harrison

I'm so sorry for your loss. John touched the lives of so many of us at American Airlines. He was such a sweet soul who could turn anybody's bad day around with his friendly way, and optimistic and upbeat personality! I always looked forward to seeing his smiling face on the tram. He had that special quality that lit up the room. When he retired, it was like the life got sucked out of the tram, and coming to and going from work was not as fun or special. John was an angel on this earth, and he is truly missed. I feel so blessed to have known such a wonderful man.

John was a unique man with a wonderful soul! I remember taking the tram to and from the terminal. Although it was for a short time each day, he gave me some of the best fatherly advice I could have had during difficult times... My deepest condolences to the family... John will always lives in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
