January 10, 1944 - May 3, 2017 John David Huffman went to Heaven after a short illness. John was a gentle soul, loving father, and avid sports fan. Born in Huntington, Indiana, and raised mostly in Muncie, Indiana. Graduate of Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana. Moved to Southern California in the early '70s. Longtime resident of Rowland Heights and Rancho Cucamonga. Lifelong career in media sales including 20 years at the LA Times. Retired in 2011. John will be remembered for his fierce competitiveness, extreme loyalty and unique sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survived by sons, John Patrick, Robert Shannon, Jeffrey David and Joseph Paul, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Interment Fairview Cemetery in Servia, Indiana, TBD.

calling you after the games to share excuses on what went wrong.
