October 11, 1915 - July 26, 2017 Lorene Anna Widdersheim, 101, longtime resident of Burbank passed away at her home. Lorene was born October 11,1915 in Dunbar, Nebraska to Herman and Emma Landwehr. In her early years she worked on the farm where she was born. She came to California seven weeks before Pearl Harbor. At a dance a few months later she met Clinton Widdersheim. He worked at Lockheed and was also from Nebraska. They were married October 17, 1942. In 1943 their daughter Jane was born. Lorene enjoyed taking trips and helping others. A highlight of her life was being a member of the LERC Rockcrafters club. She spent many years being very close to her sister. She is predeceased by her parents, husband Clinton, brother Roy and sister Hilda. She is survived by her daughter Jane, 4 nephews and a niece. Services were held at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.
