March 14, 1923 - November 3, 2017 Beverly Jane Graves, age 94, died on November 3, 2017 on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Bev was born on March 14, 1923, in Green Bay, WI. She was raised in Eagle Rock, CA, graduating from Eagle Rock High School in 1941. On February 8, 1947, Bev married the love of her life, Don Graves. Their son Gary was born and they moved to Huntington Beach, CA, until 1963. In 1963 the family moved to Fond du Lac, WI, where Don continued with Mercury. In the late '60s Bev began what would be her lifelong yoga practice and teaching. She traveled ten times to Pune, India, where she participated in Intensive Classes with her guru BKS Iyengar. Bev devotedly taught Iyengar Yoga until she was 89. She is remembered lovingly by her friends and dedicated students. Don and Bev returned to California in 1979 settling in Ventura, where they were very happy in their practices: yoga for Bev and cycling for Don. Sorry to here the passing of Beverly Graves I didn't know her very well but knew her husband Don Graves for many years through the Channel Island Bike Club.
