BERBERI, Elie Retired President (Chief Judge) of the Court of Appeals of Beirut Lebanon, now living in Los Angeles passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. He was 90 years old; deeply beloved husband of Jeannette Berberi (nee Koudsi) for 62 years; devoted father of Armand Berberi, Arlette Berberi-Turkieh-Lecourt, Aline Baum, Vicky Berberi-Doumar, and Antoine Berberi; dear brother of Helene Mouzannar of Beirut, Lebanon; he is survived by 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. His wisdom, generosity, and infinite capacity for love will be treasured and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Viewing will take place at St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Church, 16643 Vanowen Street, Van Nuys, California 91406 on Sunday June 16, from 3-5 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 5 pm. Graveside Trisagion will be held at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park (St. Nicholas Gardens), 10621 Victory Blvd, No. Hollywood, California 91606 at 11 am on Monday June 17, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Church.
