Karen was a very special friend of mine for over 30 years. Many many fun times. Great times spending weekends at the beach, and even camping once, in our younger days. I miss her so much already.

I loved Karen. She was an inspiration to me and served on the board of NCJW while I was president to help me out. She also sat by my mother's side daily while she was dying, the only person to do so and she didn't even know her that well. It was unbelievably kind. I will miss seeing her smiling face.

Karen was such a character and always added a spark and warmth to any gathering. I was in book group with her for many years and we also studied together at Neveh Shalom in Rabbi Stampfer s classes. I will really miss her. Sincere condolences to family and friends.
