Troy Miller Obituary

February 12, 1924 - July 30, 2017 Troy P. Miller, Jr., of Huntington Beach, passed away at home at the age of 93. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita Miller, brother of Keith Miller, the devoted father of Joyce Williams (Cliff), Troy W. Miller, Janice Sykes (Scott) and Dr. Ross J. Miller, DDS (Nancy), and the adored grandfather of Ian and Conor Williams, and Nolan, Allison and Lauren Sykes, step-grandfather of Chrystal and Lizette Gonzales, and step-great-grandfather of Eli and Jonah Guerrero. Born in Los Angeles to Troy Price, Sr. and Genevieve Miller. Graduated Hoover High School, Glendale 1941. B.S. Meteorology UCLA, M.S. Physics, UCLA, 1949, after serving in the Army Air Corps during WWll. Worked at North American, Stanford Research Institute, and Rockwell International. He was a man with a great sense of humor and propriety, found the best in everyone, kind and modest to a fault, truly embodying the qualities of "The Greatest Generation." We will miss one of the finest men and were so honored to have him as our father. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution, may do so to RESULTS (http://www.results.org/), a group dedicated to helping the developing world of which he was a member and volunteer in his last years. Per his request interment private; under the direction of Heritage Memorial Service, Huntington Beach.
