October 7, 1926 - June 7, 2015 Aaron David Kay was born in Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 7, he moved with his family to California. Aaron was the son of Jack and Rebecca Kay. For 67 years, he was the beloved husband of Fradelle (Freddi); the proud father of five children: Ilene Straus (Tom Quinn), Janice Robertson (Ronald), Mitchell Kay (Marcie), Neil Kay, and Andrea Kay. Aaron is also survived by grandchildren Billie Gaura (Kevin), Julie Ross (Jesse), Andrew Straus (Hél¿ne), Elissa Kay, Jeffrey Kay (Dawn), Eric Kay; and Jordan Kay, Ian Kay (fianceé Meaghan) and their mother Jodi Kay. Aaron is survived by his brother Saul Kay (Rima) and predeceased by sisters Trudy Stone and Sally Kay. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and lifelong friends Chuck Franklin, and Bob Sugar. In his youth, Aaron achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Fairfax High School and UCLA, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. He remained a loyal Bruin throughout his adult life. He served in the Army Air Corps and was later a Cub Master and Scout Master. Professionally, Aaron was a pioneer in international trade, and a real estate developer. He was a kind, generous and philanthropic man and a great role model. Family was everything to Aaron. He felt that he had a blessed life and he will be sorely missed. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park in Culver City, California.
