Aida "Judy" Kramer Obituary
August 5, 1933 - November 25, 2016 Aida "Judy" Kramer, devoted wife of Jerry, loving mother of Janet and Sharon, treasured sister of Henry Lewin, grandmother of Aaron Harvey, doting aunt to Debra Grossman (Evan) and Michelle Economos (Steve), and beloved great-aunt to Kenna, David, Camden, Matt, Alex and Nicole, passed away peacefully on November 25th at home surrounded by loved ones. She was 83 and had been valiantly battling cancer. Aida was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and in 1948, she and her family came to the United States. In 1954, she married the love of her life, Jerry. Both were graduates of Dorsey High School, and they lived and raised their family in Los Angeles. For the last forty years, Aida owned and operated "The Gift Korner," a fine collectibles store in Torrance, and her loyal customers and co-workers were among her dearest friends. Aida was a warm-hearted, gracious and generous woman who went out of her way to help others. She was a constant source of love and support to all of us - our rock. We are eternally grateful to Gloria Salazar and Vilma Perez for helping us care for her during her brave struggle with cancer. It is comforting to know Aida is now resting in peace, though she will be dearly missed.
