Alan Edward Wisotsky Obituary
Alan Edward Wisotsky passed away at his home in Westlake Village on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the age of 68. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. A distinguished attorney and former police officer, Alan spent most of his career in defense of law enforcement and other public entities. In 2002, Alan had the chance to appear in the United States Supreme Court on behalf of police officer, Ben Chavez. The United States Supreme Court issued a favorable decision in 2003, providing a huge victory for law enforcement. Alan was also a longtime member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. In his free time, Alan loved to fish, hunt, travel and ride motorcycles. He also found great pleasure as a private pilot. Alan is survived by his wife, Beverly; his children: David and wife Amy, Joshua and wife Rita, Melinda and Alexander; his three granddaughters: Emeri, Madelyn and Lilian; as well as his many friends. Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 11 2016 at 12:30pm at Mount Sinai Simi Valley, 6150 Mt. Sinai Dr., Simi Valley, CA 93063.
