Mrs. Arlyne Grazer, mother of Academy Award-winning producer Brian Grazer, passed away at The Motion picture Television Home on March 25, 2003. Arlyne Grazer, formerly Arlyne Becker, was born on May 11, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York. At age 12, she moved to Hollywood and attended Hollywood High School. After graduation, she met Tom Grazer, a criminal attorney who was the sole owner of his private practice. The Grazers moved from Beachwood Canyon to Northridge, where they raised their three children, Brian, Nora and Gavin. Tom Grazer passed away in 1976. A homemaker for most of her life, Mrs. Grazer was a member of several different organizations including, "The Lawyers Wives of the American Bar Association" board. She also worked at Home Savings Financial in Northridge. She lived out the last fifteen years of her life at the Hotel, Santa Fe in Puerta Escondido, Mexico. Arlyne Grazer is survived by her three children and three grandchildren, Riley, Sage and Thomas. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Motion Picture Television Home.
