Arthur W. Fuzak Obituary
September 26, 1923 - May 14, 2016 Arthur Walter Fuzak passed into the hands of God on May 14th, 2016. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Janet McMillan Fuzak, an educator, photographer, loving mother, sister, aunt, friend and by his brothers George and Victor. Arthur was a devoted husband and loving father who used to take his children body surfing, rafting and camping. He made homemade ice cream on the Fourth of July and loved California, having first moved to Palos Verdes in 1958. His loved ones include his son Craig; his daughter Cathleen and Cathleen's husband Roger and their children, Cristina, Brennen and Colin; his sister-in-law Gloria; and many nephews and nieces. He loved his family; attending and reveling in all of their life events and accomplishments. Arthur was an Army Air Force pilot and instructor in World War II, a lawyer, a businessman and an entrepreneur. He was also an amateur geologist and an avid golfer who served for many years as the President of the Lake Arrowhead Country Club, where he and Janet maintained a home since 1974. Arthur attended Cornell, Williams College, Northwestern Law School and UCLA Law School, where he was a member of that law school's first ever graduating class. His daughter, Cathleen Lynch, wrote: "My beloved Dad passed on and I know he is now with my Mom in Heaven. My Dad and Mom were soulmates and were married for 60 years. It gives me peace to know they are together. I'm so incredibly grateful and thankful to God to have been blessed with my parents. My Dad was my best friend, my role model, and my hero. I always felt his unconditional love and support. He was the man who picked me up when I fell, held me when I cried, laughed with me, and cheered me on at all my sports events. He cherished family more than anything else. We were all able to be with him when he passed on to say goodbye. There was music and he was surrounded by so much love. I am so grateful for that blessing.  Dad, thank you for teaching us about love, family, loyalty, generosity, compassion and faith. Your optimism was contagious every single day of my life. We miss you so much and we will love you forever." There was a celebration of his life in Beverly Hills on June 27, 2016.
