Bernard L. (Bud) Cohn Obituary
September 14, 1936 - July 3, 2015 Bernard L. Cohn (Bud) passed away peacefully at his home in Studio City, Ca. on July 3rd 2015. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Maurice and Lillian Cohn. He graduated from Ohio State University, was a member and president of the ZBT fraternity. He moved to California in 1959 working in the paint and coatings industry for over 55 years. He was the founder and owner of Catalina Paints. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Jacqueline, sons John (Matheus) David (Greta) and two grandchildren Riley and Caris, nieces and nephew Kathy May Wittman, Larry May, Patty May Linsey, Susan Lieberman, Lori Lieberman Cali, and Kim Lieberman McCarty. His sister Irene Karney predeceased him in 2013. His beloved sister Marian May and brother in law Richard May reside in New Jersey. Bud was a loving husband, father, grandfather and best friend to many. Words cannot express what a gentle and kind heart he had. He cared more than most and always took the time with everyone. He will be greatly missed. Services to be held at Eden Mortuary in Mission Hills this Thursday, July 9th at 10am. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a or the Angeles Clinic studies in Melanoma.
