Betty Lou Leedy Stoller Obituary
October 31, 1924 - December 4, 2015 Betty died peacefully, after a long illness, with family at her bedside. She moved from Pittsburgh to LA in 1949 with her husband, Leo B Stoller. They lived in Los Feliz, Burbank and ultimately Encino. She was an educator; teaching high school in Pittsburgh, working at the counseling center at UCLA, and dedicating over 35 years to educating the public and sharing her love of art as a Docent at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). She will be remembered as a loyal friend and a woman who loved and cared for her family including her mother (Estelle Brown Lipschutz Leedy) until her death, and her husband throughout his career and their lives together until his death. She was a loving dedicated mother to her 3 children: Fredricka Stoller (Bill Grabe), David Stoller (Diane Patterson) and Marshall Stoller (Mikiko Huang). Her optimistic spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her. She extended her love and optimism to her beloved grandchildren: Emily and Annie Stoller-Patterson, and Cyrus and Ezra Stoller. Donations in memoriam to LACMA Docent Council, LACMA, 5905 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036. A celebration of her life will be announced.
