Beverley Sinclair Elliott Obituary
December 17, 1923 - May 4, 2016 Beverley Sinclair Elliott of Newport Beach departed this world on May 4th in her home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her son, Kirk S. Elliott, whose wife, Martha is deceased, granddaughters Lesley Riccabona (Dominic) and Meaghan Guttmann (Adam), daughter Christine Elliott-Armstrong (Andrew), granddaughter Barbara Savoy-Pacella (Rick), daughter Kimberly Storstad (David), and great-grandchildren, Christian Elliott Guttmann and James Dylan Guttmann. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirkly Lockwood Sinclair and Bernice Woods Sinclair, her brother, Kirkly Lockwood Sinclair Jr. and her husband, Richard Collins Elliott. Beverley, best known to her children, grandchildren & friends as Bevey, was born December 17, 1923 in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from L.A. High, attended UCLA where she joined the Pi-Phi sorority and met the love of her life, Richard C. Elliott, aka Skipper Dick, or "Dickie" at the tender age of 19. They married 4 months later. She and Dickie had celebrated 65 years of marriage, true love and exceptional memories of family, yachting and traveling with dear friends prior to his passing. In honor of Bev's wishes, there will be no services other than a family celebration to spread her ashes at sea where she will join Skipper Dick's ashes spread 7 years ago. The family would like to extend their most grateful thanks to the care providers that looked after Bevey for the past few years. We truly mourn the passing of a wonderful legacy of love and commitment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a contribution to your most favored charitable organization in Bev's memory.
