Bonnie Paulin Cornish Obituary
November 30, 1936 - January 1, 2016 Bonnie Paulin Cornish, born on November 30, 1936, to Marjorie Allor Paulin and William Paulin, passed away peacefully in her home in San Rafael, on January 1st, 2016 at the age of 79. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Harry "Sam" Cornish, and her sisters, Jean Klan and Marjorie Weber. Bonnie is lovingly remembered by her son Gregory Kimball, her daughters, Bradley Kimball and Heather Cornish, her niece Johanna Weber, and her nephew Bill Klan. Smart and charming, the Bonz, Bon Bon, or Bonzerelli, could elicit laughter from you effortlessly, and was never afraid to tell you what she really thought. She enjoyed gardening, movies, reading, Christmas Eve, and Disneyland. She also enjoyed spending time with her beloved pets, Holly and Daisy, who now reside with her son Gregory. Sober for over 30 years, Bonnie aided others in achieving sobriety, and was always there for anyone who needed her help. Interment of the ashes of Bonnie and Sam will take place at 11:00am, May 14th, 2016 at Pleasant Hills Memorial Park in Sebastopol, located at 1700 Pleasant Hill Rd., Sebastopol, CA 95472. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at approximately 1:00pm at the Church of the Oaks in Cotati, located at 185 Page St., Cotati, CA 94931. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made in Bonnie's name to the Church of the Oaks, a frequent meeting place for many 12 step programs to help with the recovery of the others.
