Charles Jeffrey Bullard Obituary
July 21, 1963 - June 8, 2017 After a heroic fight Jeff passed away from colon cancer on June 8, surrounded by family and friends at his home in Los Angeles. While death came way too early to this extrovert with a great sense of humor, no one packed in as much life, adventure and love in 53 years as did Jeff. Jeff was born July 21, 1963, in Little Rock, AR, to the late Allen and Betty Ann Bullard. He began his undergraduate career at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, before transferring his sophomore year to UCLA. He graduated in 1986 with a degree in Communications. His love of travel started at a young age when he spent a year in Munich, Germany, as an AFS exchange student. After college he received a Rotary International Fellowship to study in Vienna for a year, where he only had classes on Friday afternoons! Jeff dabbled in several professions before settling into a long-time career as a computer consultant specializing in all things Apple. Due to his consummate communication skills and outgoing personality, Jeff's business grew over the years, making lasting friendships with many of his clients. A dedicated athlete throughout his life, Jeff once biked from Salt Lake City to Little Rock to attend his sister's wedding. He ran marathons, participated in triathlons, swam, hiked, played tennis, and - in his early thirties - became obsessed with golf. Wanting to give back to the community, Jeff tutored elementary students weekly in the LA area for years. Of course the kids loved him! Jeff is survived by his loving ex-wife, Cynthia Forchielli, and by his four siblings, Katherine Melhorn, Eleanor Pella (Peter), Will Bullard (Ellen), and Phillip Bullard (Brandi). Memorials may be made in Jeff's memory to the Samburu Project (TheSamburuProject.org).
