Christiana was also an ambassador for the Bud Light Corporation and belonged to the Sigma Kappa sorority. In pursuit of her career goal to work for a professional sports team after graduating college, Christiana was hired by two of Los Angeles' premier professional sports teams, the Rams and the Kings, where she was currently employed at the time of her passing. In addition to her work in the field of professional and college sports, Christiana was a prolific runner and athlete in her own right, as well as a singer with a beautiful voice. Her hobbies and interests also included a love for country music, dance with her family and her love of the beach. Christiana leaves behind her grieving parents Barbara Laird and Michael Duarte as well as her best friend and brother, Michael Duarte, Jr. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Artemio & Dolores Duarte and Gerald & Dorothy Laird.
