September 13, 1991 - February 4, 2018 Clayton Thomas Stafford, of Los Angeles, CA formerly of New Orleans, LA, departed this life on February 4, 2018. Clayton was born in New Orleans on September 13, 1991. Clayton had a kind and gentle nature. His Little League Coach used to call him "Smiley" and he continued to carry that demeanor until the end. He brought joy to everyone that ever knew him. He is survived by his parents, Thomas Mark and Mary Cummings Stafford, sisters Blair and Alexandra Stafford, his loving girlfriend, Jasmine Melendez, grandmother, Valerie Bordelon Stafford, his devoted dog, Jacquesimo, and a host of family and friends. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Milfred and Florence Signorino Cummings and paternal grandfather, Thomas Lee Stafford. The family would like to express their gratitude to Arie Winograd and his staff at the BDD Clinic for their loving concern and kind therapeutic care of Clayton's illness. Also, all New Orleans/Lafayette, New York, and Los Angeles tri-coastal family and friends who have given their support over the last two weeks. Their outpouring of love has been sustaining and will never be forgotten. Pallbearers will be Daniel Bigelow, Quinn Early, Ryan Early, Christopher Groh, Gregory Groh, Hunter Richardson, Sean Schultz, and Michael Stafford. Honorary Pallbearers: Byron Cary, Mark Cultice, Steven James, Christopher Stafford, and Adam Weintraub. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the Los Angeles Body Dysmorphic Disorder Clinic. 10780 Santa Monica Blvd, Suite 120 Los Angeles, CA 90025. Family and friends are invited to attend the night wake on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 CANAL STREET. There will be a Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6666 Spanish Fort Blvd., New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until Mass time. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.schoenfh.com
