Constance Linsman Gale Obituary
February 21, 1933 - October 13, 2015 Constance Linsman Gale, 82, of Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2015. Connie was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on February 21, 1933, to Thelma (née Ferer) and Joseph Linsman, also Omaha natives. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her much-loved and loving second husband of more than 30 years, Marty Gale. Owing to father Joe's military service as an Army doctor, Connie grew up across America, posting to posting, from the District of Columbia and Texas to Alabama and-during the latter part of World War II-California. Connie first married in the mid-1950s and, some 55 years ago, settled for good in Los Angeles. Connie adored her large circle of family and friends and found great joy in gourmet cooking, entertaining, traveling widely, working as a legal secretary, playing mahjong, reading, dancing, and occasionally indulging Marty by participating in adventures ranging from cross-country skiing to road cycling. She drew the line at camping and kayaking. Surviving Connie are Brother Bill Linsman and sister-in-law Paula Panich of Los Angeles Daughter Robin and son-in-law Paul Bantz of Los Altos, California Son Jeff Berger and daughter-in-law Mary Jean Haski of Annandale, Virginia Grandsons Christopher and Mark Berger of Colorado and California, respectively Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lorraine and Marvin Buhai of Los Angeles Many beloved nieces and nephews in Arizona, California, Nebraska, and Texas: Michelle and Dennis Ang and their children, Jessica and James Archambault and their children, Mark Gale and Kathy Hanson, Janice Kimura and her son and grandson, Ilana Panich Linsman, Sande Buhai and Ted Seto and their children, Amy and Paul Wissmann and their children
