Cyndra Busch Obituary
June 27, 1976 - October 8, 2016 On 10/8/2017 family and friends of Cyndra Busch lost a beautiful soul. On 6/27/1976 she was born at Ukiah General where her mother Joyce Busch had been born thirty five years earlier. Cyndra, whose given name Cynthea, meaning Moon Goddess, excelled in various arts, including equestrian proficiency, dance and modeling. At age 11 she played the role of Sunbow Fairy in the beloved play Story of Orange. By 13, Cyndra, who was signed with New York Modeling Agency, competed in Brazil for Elite's "Look of the Year." Cyndra was one of ten U.S. finalists and was signed with Elite, for whom she worked for twenty years until she retired. She was featured in many print ads nationwide and abroad for a number of popular hair and beauty products as well as designer clothing lines. Cyndra traveled the world for work, acted in commercials, two of which aired during the Super Bowl, modeled on runways and acted in Hollywood on TV shows and in feature films. While in Australia she won both "Model" and "Commercial of the Year" awards. Cyndra was passionate about competing with her beloved quarter horse Skip N Chic, with whom she won numerous ribbons and High Point awards. She also enjoyed both NASCAR and local races and loved working as a guest behind the wall for Childress' Racing team. She was also on local racer Mark Marek's team, led by Charlie Beck and John Wills. Family oriented, Cyndra enjoyed spending time with her brother Craig. Early on she performed dances and plays for Craig demanding that he "PAY ATTENTION." Together they rode horses and four wheelers and competed in board and card games. Cyndra was predeceased by grandparents State Senator Burt W. Busch and City Clerk Leonora "Babs" Busch and grandparents Lincoln and Myrtle Wright, Kelseyville ranchers. Also her faithful canine companions Jr. and Cowboy. Cyndra is survived by her mother Joyce Busch, brother Craig Busch and father H. Buffer Wright. Additionally we want to especially thank Jordan for the comfort, care and support he provided Cyndra.
