Not sure what to say?

I always called him Uncle Dave, He was very gifted Man.
Generious with his time, talent, and giving the best of himself to all of those who he knew.
I'm sure he's up there playing with old friends and family.
RIP
Uncle Dave
You are in deed missed

The records he collaborated with Fats Domino have given me years of enjoyment....a very creative man indeed.

God is a God of all Comfort and he will Comfort the family's...My condolence

I remember one night in Preservation Hall; the place was full of foreign tourists and Dave's trumpet was hot. In the third set Dave sang "Blueberry Hill." He and I were the only ones who knew the words, it seems, and boy did we blast it!

I would like to express my deepest sympathies for the loss of your loved one, who will be remembered for his contribution to the music industry, he was a very talented man. May you find comfort and strength in God during this time of sorrow.
