Edith Jelinowicz

Obituary Condolences

December 15, 1926 - July 7, 2015 A true survivor in every sense of the word, Edith passed away in her home on July 7th. Edith came to the United States in 1947, a survivor of Auschwitz. Shortly thereafter, she met and married the love of her life, Bernard who preceded her in death in 2011. Together they created and ran a successful home furnishings business in Los Angeles. They are survived by their son Marty, grandson Ryan and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Edith will be remembered for her elegance, strength, determination and dedication to family. She was quite the cook and hostess as well! Funeral services are not complete at this time. Please contact Hillside Memorial Park & Mortuary for details: 800-576-1994.
