Dr. Caldwell was a highly respected educator and she put her heart and soul into teaching her classes in Chaucer making them vividly interesting to every theme. She truly cared about her students and seeing them succeed was her core. I am so thankful to have had her as my professor. She saw the best in me and showed me that I had what it took to make the grade and I did. I will forever be grateful for her believing in me, encouraging me, and inspiring me to do my best as her student. She will be dearly missed. Rest in peace, Dr. Caldwell. You were a true asset that made a difference because you cared. Your legacy as a remarkable dedicated outstanding professor and passionate educator will never be forgotten. You were one of a kind and your essence will be dearly missed.

Professor Caldwell proved to me that Angels still exist on this planet. I found out about her unfortunate passing last night by complete randomness. I was in complete shock as I would email her on occasions to check on her and send my love. Professor Caldwell taught me a great deal of things. Not just in the scholastic realm, but reviving my beliefs in humanity once again. Jesus' love and care truly shone through her angelic face. I truly loved her as she mirrored Christianity and kindness through her mission on earth (something we, human beings, fail to resemble on a daily level). I will miss her more than any utterance of words.
