May 1, 1926 - November 22, 2015 Ethel Grace (Stoker) Trabue, age 89, passed away on November 22, 2015. Ethel was born to Arria Rush and Darwin Lloyd Stoker Sr. in Baltimore, Maryland on May 1, 1926. She moved to California in 1946 where she worked for NCR and Hughes Aircraft for 45 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Richard Trabue and her sister Arria Stoker Clark. She is survived by her brothers, James and D. Lloyd Stoker, her nieces, Patricia Reynolds and Joan McCoy, her nephews, Joseph, Jeffrey, and Charles Stoker. Ethel was known for her gracious manner, her devotion to her friends and her kind and generous spirit. She was a talented cross stitch artist who tended her work with precision and love. Ethel held a great appreciation for all wildlife and had a particular tenderness for cats. The family wishes to thank Mylene DeJesus for her companionship, devotion, and love for Ethel. Her exceptional dedication to her craft of caretaker gave our family a peace of mind and allowed Ethel to remain in her home as was her wish. The family wishes to extend a special note of gratitude to Jill and George Foote. Who embody the true meaning of neighbor and friend as they visited Ethel faithfully. Their vigilance was invaluable. A memorial is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 11am to 4pm at her home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Los Angeles SPCA 5026 W. Jefferson Blvd, 90016
