April 14, 1947 - December 31, 2015 Faramarz Larizadeh, beloved husband and father passed away on December 31, 2015 due to complications from an ever-present heart condition and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Faramarz was born in Tehran, Iran and came to the US to study Business at UCLA on a scholarship. In 1973, he married Dianne and in 1975, they moved to Iran. When the Iranian Revolution broke out in 1978, Dianne returned to California with their 9-month old son, Dariush, and Faramarz followed a year later, never to return to Iran. Their daughter, Darya was born in 1983. In addition to his commitment to teaching and real estate ventures, he always found time for his friends and was devoted to his family. Faramarz loved Persian poetry, music, and was an accomplished percussionist. He possessed a fun-loving spirit, a great sense of humor, was a critical thinker, and a life-long student of the world. He is survived by his wife, Dianne, son Dariush, daughter Darya, son-in-law Jonathan, brother Bahman, and loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
