September 7, 1927 - November 18, 2015 September 7, 1927 - November 18, 2015 Fay Eleanor Singer was born to Sam and Ida Seegel in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Western Reserve University then completed her studies at UC Berkeley. She worked briefly for Wilson Meat Company, was the office manager for General Artists Corporation (GAC) before marrying Raymond V. Singer in 1961. She then devoted the next fifty plus years pursuing an intense desire to paint and became a well-respected fine artist and art activist with collectors world-wide. She is survived by her husband Raymond V. Singer, older brother Beryl Seegel, her (almost) sister-in-law Harriette Spiro, nephew Mark Seegel and wife Heather, niece Barbara and husband John Angaiakd, great-niece Samantha and fiancé Owen Miller, great-nephew Caleb Phillips, wife Audrey and children Hunter and Addie. Fay succumbed to pneumonic/COPD complications. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Hadassah. A funeral service will be held on Sunday 11am at Hillside Memorial Park, Malinow and Silverman Mortuary (800)710-7100.
