Florence Bernice Eiseman Obituary
July 2, 1919 - June 17, 2017 Florence Eiseman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died on Saturday, June 17, in her apartment in Santa Monica, two weeks prior to her 98th birthday. She was with her family at the time of her death. Ms. Eiseman worked as an executive assistant to a prominent Baltimore ophthalmologist before she retired. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on July 2, 1919, where she lived until 2006. After the death of Seymour, her loving husband of 60 years, she moved to Santa Monica to be with her daughters and her daughter Nancy's family. Ms. Eiseman, who did the New York Times crossword puzzle and played Words With Friends until just a week before her death, was known for her devotion to her family, her sense of humor and quick wit. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Eiseman Sitrick and her son-in-law Michael Sitrick, her daughter Adriane Eiseman, her grandchildren Julie Sitrick Fahn, Julie's husband Terry Fahn, Sheri Sitrick Field, her husband Kevin Field, Alison Sitrick Grasse, her husband Jesse Grasse and her 7 great-grandchildren: Sarah, Hannah and Matthew Fahn, Oliver, Stella and Layla Field and Anabelle Grasse. She was also survived by her nieces Susan Fine Blum and Elaine Fine Kimmel and their husbands, Lt. General H. Steven Blum, (USA ret.) and Larry Kimmel and their respective children. She was interred at Hillside Memorial Cemetery in Los Angeles, alongside her beloved husband Seymour on Monday June 19. Contributions may be sent to Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California.
