Frank E. Barnyak Obituary
Frank E. Barnyak of Studio City, passed away on July 1, 2016. He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on May 23, 1921. Preceded in death by parents, Frank M. and Caroline (Gabriel) Barnyak and beloved wife, Mary. He is survived by cousin, Mary Frances and her husband Jerry Sandusky, his "adopted son" Frank Galluzzo and his wife Donna and longtime friend Roger Daniels. Other family members include cousins William and his wife Anne Biniszkiewicz, Jill Biniszkiewicz, Susan and husband Paul Acquisto and many other extended family members and friends. Frank served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. As a patriot, he was an avid supporter of the National Rifle Association, the Navy League, the B-17 Group, and the American Legion among others. Frank was an active member and patron of St. Charles Catholic Borromeo Church. Visitation will be Thursday, July 7th from 5 - 8 pm with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 pm at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary, 11160 Strandwood Ave., Mission Hills, CA 91345. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 8th at St. Charles Church 9:30 am, 10828 Moorpark St., N. Hollywood. Interment to follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery. Donations to "Society for the Propagation of the Faith, Los Angeles FBO St. Mary Church S.A.", Mission Office 3424 Wilshire Blvd., 3rd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90010.
