Frank Jackwerth Obituary
November 22, 2017 Frank was born in Chicago but as a small child his family moved to Los Angeles. He grew up in Eagle Rock and enlisted in the Navy after high school. While he served on the USS Constellation air carrier he developed a passion for travel. He loved the Navy. When he left the Navy he was introduced to the world of real estate. A door was opened and he never looked back. Early in his career he crossed paths with Mike Silverman, head of a boutique real estate firm in Beverly Hills. Mike mentored Frank to become a highly successful real estate professional. Through the years Frank crossed paths with many famous people, including Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball and Frank Sinatra. He loved the disco era and became a master backgammon player as a member of the private club Pips. His travels took him to New York, London, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Machu Picchu, Moscow, Bali and numerous vacations to Mexico. He had an interesting and adventurous life. In 1998, while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta he met Roberta Ross, a Canadian. They married in 2008 and had a decade of love, friendship and adventure. Frank is survived by his loving wife and his two precious birds, Dorian Gray and Garbo.
