Frieda Wilma Sabella Obituary
May 26, 1920 - March 4, 2016 Friday, March 4, 2016. Frieda Wilma Reinhardt passed away after complications from a fall 11 weeks prior. She was born May 26, 1920 in Alliance, Ohio, to Frederick Paul Reinhardt from Germany and Karolina Musche Reinhardt from Bavaria. Frieda was one of two children, her brother Paul passed some time ago. At her bedside were her long time friend, Roger Downing and caretaker, Zeinu Zeneiba. Frieda was a true free spirit, self sufficient, kind and generous. Her grace, integrity and dignity were exemplary. Her travels took her to Europe, several states and Hawaii. She loved flowers and nurturing a large variety of plants in her garden. She worked early on as a seamstress before spending 32 years in Hughes Aircraft Computer Division as a supervisor. In 1955 she married Joseph Charles Sabella, who worked in the movie industry. It was the beginning of a wonderful 38 year marriage. Charles passed in 1993 after struggling with Parkinsons'. Her never ending love and care for Charles was a challenge but handled by the strength of this extraordinary woman. She enjoyed her swimming exercise group and later her knitting buddies. Betti Richter and Edna Downing were her closest of friends and spent a great amount of time together in her late years. Frieda said she "wanted to live to be 100, so she could be on The Smucker's Jelly Jar label." She would have been 96 in May, too bad Smuckers, your loss. Through the years she relied heavily on the support of her good friend Roger Downing, and cherished their friendship. We will miss you infinitely dearest Frieda, you leave a massive void in all our lives.
